I am an investor in Monterrazas de Cebu and let me point to you that Tommy Osmeña does not own a single cent in Monterrazas. Why do say Tommy’s Monterrazas? You claim to know politics and current events but yours is based on rumors or statements whose veracity is in question.

wow! with all those inefficient basic services and Tommy’s mismanagement according to you, i presume mag-ulian ka sa caceres kada adlaw? unless youre as pretentious as the Garcias dissing Cebu City, very the same line as yours, yet naa nagpuyo sa syudad.

and to burst your bubble, Tommy has been a recipient of the Most Outstanding Mayor Award, si Gwen morag sa Most Beautiful Retokada ra siguro. LOL

isnt this municipal festivals with duboius cultural and historical basis a copycat of Cebu City’s Sinulog Festival?
yeah, talk about “atbangan” kuno.

or is it that tommy is more than a political operator…
maybe you are fond of reading his words in the newspapers, or blinded by tommy’s pretensions of being the best? you never realized that tommy is really fond of basking in the limelight of being number one, notwithstanding the city’s gargantuan garbage, clogged sewerage, poor solid waste management system, unpaved roads, the very substandard north reclamation area, very inefficient MCWD, SRP na walay halin, very dilapidated interior roads, squatters living everywhere, unregulated vendors, the dirtiest carbon market, the very choking traffic, unplanned infrastructures, very political zoning policy, subjective decision-making, and a vice mayor and councilmen or more appropriately “HAREM OF EUNUCHS” who murmur amen to the mayor!

IS THAT WHAT YOU CALL TOMMY BEING BETTER THAN GWEN?

look at how the airport is being handled, look at how CPA is handled, look at prime province-owned properties ( near chong hua, lahug, etc.), look at provincial roads, almost 500 km asphalted ,( that’s why the road in your locality has not been paved because your local officials are uncooperative), look at town plazas having WIFI, towns starting to have their own festivals, museums, schools given PCs, 890 classrooms programmed until 2010, very good programs for reforestation getting the help of our school children, even cuartel in oslob will be given hopefully funds for a museum, cebu politicians being united, water systems upgraded gradually all over, clustering of towns for health concerns, ports in maya daan bantayan and naga, a new economic zone in naga, province one of the owners of Asiatown IT park, gwen going to mountain barangays giving water systems and electrification, gwen overcoming obstacles to pursue power plants in Toledo City and Naga for Cebu’s stable power supply., and the planned 3000 hectare Cordova Reclamation project, belittling Tommy’s SRP, massive improvement of South Bus Terminal compared to Tommy’s North Bus Terminal, the CICC, the 2 billion peso savings, and still DEBT-FREE,… and still the list goes on and on
and on…

and consider this, GWEN IS HANDLING OVER 1300 BARANGAYS, 51 MUNICIPALITIES AND CITIES, 6 CONGRESSIONAL DISTRICTS, THE RDC, THE RPOC, MCIAA, MCBMB, CPA, THE MCDC, THE WHOLE OF VISAYAS AS CHAIRWOMAN REPRESENTATIVE OF NEDA-ICC, THE EAST ASIAN TOURISM FORUM LEADERSHIP, so maybe i suppose it would be understandable, especially on your part if there are concerns that has not been addressed yet, YOU BETTER BLAME THAT ON YOUR LOCAL OFFICIAL!

while tommy’s monterrazas de cebu did some landslides affecting the poor people, choosing which vendors to demolished which is a very inconsistent policy, vigilante-style killings, political enemies everywhere…

I BELIEVE TOMMY IS MORE OF BEING A POLITICAL OPERATOR! DID NOT YOU REALIZE?

AND MAYBE YOU DID NOT REALIZED THAT THE OSMENAS RULED CEBU FOR A CENTURY AND THE GARCIAS JUST STARTED A DECADE AGO… SO WHICH IS WHICH?

you know, the city is in the verge of collapse, its only the business community that keeps cebu city floating…suroy2 kuno sa cebu city, c 4 urself kun unsa ka rotten ang service, grabeng libaong, ang NRA unsa na?tanawa ang ila interior roads…
going back 2 SRP, kun naa pay gusto moinvest ana, hagbay ra…kinsa may gusto moinvest kun awayon ra ang mga investors…the SRP is suppose to provide jobs to people, but tommy acts like a real estate speculator…tanawa lang nya kun masugdan na ang cordova reclamation project, wala ra na sa kumingking ang SRP ninu ni tom!
ngano tagoon man ni tommy ang investors sa SRP?kinsa may gusto moinvest sa SRP nga wala man nay utilities, drainage system…
ang capitol pirme updated ang sweldo sa mga tawo…sa city hall tagpila ka buwan una marelease?
ang solid waste management sa cebu city unsa naman? cge pagarpar tommy anang Philbio nga momanage anang inayawan landfill pero naunsa naman HAGBA! if u are a keen observer, tanawa unsa kainsecure si tommy, kun unsa gani ang project ni gwen, atbangan dayon ni tommy…magpamuseun si gwen sa cpdrc, ayuhon daun ang rizal library. nagpanindot si gwen sa capitol building, nagpanindot sad daun sa city hall bisag walay budget. karon magsugod na si tommy pagaspalto sa bukirang bahin sa dakbayan, pero karon ra pud nga nahagit cya ni gwen…apil ang province sa dilg, apil2 pud daun c tommy anang iyang lupong tagapamayapa…unya si gwen nakapadevelop man gani og sugod anang mga yuta sa cebu city nga lisod ang kahimtang ana pero ang SRP magunsa naman. tanawa giunsa pagdala ni gwen ang MCIAA, ang 2 bridges, ang CPA, pero c tommy giunsa nya pagdala ang MCWD, ang CCMC? dats wat u call tommy is much better than gwen?

hahaha! dont believe everything you see in the website brod, PR na sa kapitolyo including the TV show. if you want to know the real score, get your ass off from your airconditioned office nya kuyog ta isuroy tika sa among bukid para kita jud ka whats ‘really happening’.

we lost our parish church just recently, and the fire could have been put off earlier if dili pa gubaon among firetruck nga two years old pa intawon nga donated by.. by.. by.. Gwen!

the 500000 votes Gwen garnered do not necessarily mean there are 500000 Gwen’s nuts in the province. take out those voters nga napalit, nabayran, gihudlat and of course those who were like me-left with no choice (yet wrote Gwen’s name in their ballots). i tell you, i marked “X” on the space for governor sa akong balota.

of course, Tommy can not do what Gwen did because Tommy will surely do better.

case in point; kanang bugalbugal ni Pablo John nga ang Cebu City daghan ug utang tungod sa SRP, mo boomerang na sa iyaha later. imagine what the SRP will become 20 years from now? and dare to compare sa CICC 20 years from now.

will you please visit http://www.cebu.gov.ph and see for yourself what’s really happening? or watch sugbo TV show every morning, 7:00 to 7:30 am, monday to friday?… i don’t need to further explain more…but the thought that she has really united the province speaks of her capacity…an almost 500000 vote lead is a very resounding trust being given to her by the cebuanos and that’s not because of publicity…for sure such lead resulted from such good governance she has shown…and im really really sure tommy cannot do what gwen did if he were the governor right now…and just imagine if gwen had been the mayor of cebu city…

thanks for dropping by.. yeah, i may not fully knowledgble on how politics work in this country, but im sure “washing once hands” is one unacceptable excuse. the garcias had been in control of the province since 1995, are you trying to say there was not a single project poured on the third district since then because it is being controlled by the yaphas? pagmakalolooy gud tawn sa mga tawo diha!

i dont know, but ive seen pictures (for publicity for sure) of Gwen inaugurating waterworks in some areas of the Martinez-controlled district. see? if Gwen did it there, why cant she do it in the 3rd district? or the question maybe, does Gwen really have a program (concrete, that is. not just giving notebooks and lesson plans) for education?

yeah, you are right. i love tommy.. but i love Cebu Province more. thats why i remained a second district voter.

i think you are just being emotionally subjective…i believe you are not familiar of cebu’s political history…if you try to analyze things, you know, all the schools stated are in the third district, in which the district has been controlled by the yaphas and john osmena for a long time…and maybe you are not familiar with the politics is played in this country…so you see, the garcias have only kept fully in touch with the district just last year, when PJ garcia won the congressional seat there… and besides you don’t fully read the papers because its not the 4 lowest in the country, but just only in the central visayas… wellanyway, people have lots of biases, and i feel you are inclined towards tommy.. well i understand that…but you should have been very careful with your statements.. because perception is worse than reality…and with your statement, you are brainwashing people without giving the details…ok? just a piece of advice my friend, be careful! i tell you im just 24 years old right now but i can straightly say to you at face value that i have a very great grasp of these events because cebu’s political history is a passion of mine!
